It has been decided. I am going to A-KON as Vampire Princess Miyu. It’s a classic character, and the costume was extremely easy to make.

The supplies cost about $26 and a rainy trip to Hancock Fabric. I used mainly fleece for the white robe and red inner lining for comfort purposes. I considered using cotton, but nothing can compare to the softness of fleece against your skin for the same look. For the pink sash, I opted for a chiffon to achieve a subtle and feminine touch.

The infamous black bow was the most difficult to pull off. I was hoping a thicker satin would suffice, but unfortunately, my bow fell over limply and sad. I had to resort to hanger wires to prop them up. It adds some weight, but the effect will pay off.
