California Pizza Kitchen is a restaurant I usually reserve for semi-special occasions such as birthdays, but my sister and the children of the Do Clan decided to go to the one in Berkshire Court (Preston & NW Hwy) for an after-school meal yesterday. I usually order the Garlic Cream Pasta with Shrimp, which is always tasty, but I opted for pizza this time. Mushroom Pepperoni. As usual, I was not disappointed. The crust was crispy, and the cheese was gooey. Even the Wild Mushroom pizza was appetizing.
Everyone had a good time and thoroughly enjoyed their food. The only bad part was the check. $80 for some pizza? Yikes. $12/pizza, shared by 2 isn’t too bad, but who would want to share?
