There was a time where I could walk into my local campus theater (often times accidentally) and catch a free art performance. Whether it be dance, visual, or musical, I always left with a smile on my face and a grin in my heart. FREE HOLIDAY CONCERTS?! Hell yes.  So now, free cheer, where art thou? SMU’s fine arts event page must be outdated, because from what I’ve read, their last “holiday” event ended December 5th.  I didn’t know cheer was being rush ordered this year and running out after Thanksgiving. Must be economic downturn. Maybe Black Friday cleaned them out. Nevertheless, their schedule is very disappointing. Looking North towards UTD now. Math Department Christmas Party…interesting.
